Jo is the director of strategy at Searchmetrics. She has over 9 years’ experience in digital marketing and is a prolific conference speaker. She has worked in SEO and online marketing both client and agency side. She has also worked freelance for well known retail brands. She is a highly motivated, self starter and editor as well as a regular blogger on award winning State of Digital where she has organised media partnerships with other search conferences around the world.
Jo has been the organiser of a networking group called Search London aimed for those in SEO, PPC and Social Media. She has been running the event for over 6 years where the meetup group has grown to just under 2000 members. Jo has also trained and managed teams, carrying out many education sessions in online marketing and speaking at events such as SES New York and BritMums Live.
Jo has an international background having lived in countries as diverse as Japan, USA, UK, Sweden and Australia. She speaks French and qualified to a good standard in Japanese and Spanish.
